From seismic engineering to award-winning journalism, Babu Ramachandran's career journey is marked by his passion for storytelling. His compelling narration style and empathetic storytelling have since captivated both television audiences and YouTube viewers alike. Beyond broadcasting, Ramachandran has made notable contributions to literature, especially in the realm of translated poetry. After his tenure as Chief Broadcast Journalist at Asianet, he became a key figure in the program "Vallathoru Katha" starting in 2020, earning the State Award for Best Presenter that same year. Beyond his ongoing contributions to the show and his YouTube presence, Ramachandran is also recognized for his significant contributions to translated poetry, including popular works like "Avanodu Parayaanullath," "Thasleemayude Thatavaraand & "Loka Pranaya Kavithakal" This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
