It’s Christmas Eve at our house, and tonight is all about slowing down, cooking together 🍲, and keeping our Bulgarian 🇧🇬 traditions alive. We make five of the dishes I grew up eating, sit around the table with three generations rolling grape and cabbage leaves, wave incense through the air, and make a wish for the new year ✨. It’s not fancy and it definitely gets messy, but it’s the kind of night that fills my heart ❤️.
