Let me show you how to quickly pop sorghum. It is so easy to do and perfect for snacking.
How to make
Heat your pan over medium-high heat. Be sure this is a heavy-bottom pan so the sorghum won't burn.
Once heated, add 1-2 tablespoons sorghum, cover tightly with a lid, and shake as it pops. This will move the grains around and keep them from burning. Once most grains are popped, remove them quickly from the pan to prevent burning.
My sorghum never pops all the way, so I like to separate it as shown in the video.
You can eat this just like it is, drizzled with dark chocolate, butter and salt, butter and chili powder, butter or oil and ranch mix, etc. Really you can do everything you do with popcorn with the sorghum!
