This trail is a wonderful combination of a mountain and woodland trail. It is possible to appreciate the mountain from the bottom or to climb a little higher for better views. This trail is especially beautiful in spring when the wildflowers are in bloom. There are some challenges along the way so this kind of activity is not suited for all levels of fitness. There are many picnic areas accessible. After rainfall, certain areas may become muddy or slippery, so appropriate footwear is advised.
