In this video I begin working on the foundations for my brassica cage by buying some sleepers and levelling the ground where the sleepers are going to go. It is a long process of digging and levelling and then placing the sleepers into their trench to see if they are level.
After the ground is levelled I plant out my remaining Crown Prince Squash, leeks, greek gigante beans and blue lake climbing beans. I unearth my sweet peas which have been growing under mesh to protect them from rabbits and plant some canes so hopefully they will grow up then.
In the home garden I plant out my pepper plants using my quad grows and pot on my chilli pepper plants into 5 litre pots. Four of my chilli plants I plant outside in 10 litre pots to see how well they grow. With the quad grows and chilli plants potted up most of the plants are now in their final growing positions for the summer.
