2-Vehicle Crash in Van Nuys Leaves 1 Dead, 1 Trapped

VAN NUYS, LOS ANGELES, Nov. 19 (KNN) – A traffic collision early Wednesday morning involving a Scion FR-S and a Toyota Prius, left one driver dead at the scene.

The crash occurred at the intersection of Kester Avenue and Saticoy Street in Van Nuys.

At approximately 12:47 a.m., first responders from the Los Angeles Fire Department extricated the driver of the Scion, who was trapped inside the vehicle. That driver was subsequently transported to a hospital in an unknown condition.

The driver of the Prius was pronounced deceased at the scene. The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
