Ingredients for Dodol:
1) White rice/parboiled red rice- 1/2 cup
(approx.100gms)
add 1/3 cup of water to grind rice into paste
2) Palm Jaggery- 2 pyramids (approx.200gms)
3) Fresh scrapped coconut- 2.5 cups
(add 1 &1 /4 cup of water to extract thick coconut milk)
&
add 1.5 cups of water to extract thin coconut milk from coconut pulp.
5) Cardamom powder- 1/2 tsp
6) Cashewnuts (pieces) - 2 tbsp
(optional)
Cup Size = 240ml (16 tbsp)
1 tbsp = 15ml
