Plan A didn't quite work for the 2018 Chanukah Sock Yarn, so what about plans B & C? Watch me dye and then decide between two final colorways on the KnitPicks Felici yarn base http://shrsl.com/1by3v with Dharma Acid Dyes. (affiliate link)

[0:00] Introduction
[1:41] The dyepot - 16 cups water + 4 tablespoons white vinegar
[2:19] meanwhile... presoaking skein in 16 cups water + 4 T white vinegar to do a speckled yarn, too.
[2:46] twisting the hank of felici loosely
[3:36] Stock solutions - ~1% Peacock Blue, Brilliant Yellow, and Fire Engine Red from the Dharma Acid Dye line
[4:59] dye round 1 - yellow
[9:31] Dye round 2 - the red
[13:46] dye round 3 - The blue
[18:36] The plan B reveal! untwisted
[19:59] Plan c. Plan A2? Let's use some restraint and speckle some yarn
[26:34] after letting the dry dye soak in for about 5 min
[33:47] Steaming the yarn for 30 min on the stove top
[36:03] Picking the chanukah colorway!!
