These easy prawn noodles are better than takeaway 🍜
If you’re craving something comforting but don’t want complicated cooking, this noodle recipe is for you.
It’s quick, beginner-friendly, and made with simple ingredients you probably already have at home.

📌Ingredients:
Serves 2
165-200g uncooked prawns
250g pasta
1 tablespoon of ginger paste or crushed ginger (use half for marinating the prawns)
1 tablespoon of garlic paste or crushed garlic (use half for marinating the prawns)
2 medium carrots
100g green beans
2 spring onions
1 small onion
1 tablespoon of dark soy sauce and 1 tablespoon of light soy sauce
2-3 tablespoons of olive oil
1 teaspoon of vegetable stock (optional)
Salt and sprinkle of chili flakes
Step 1:
Marinate the uncooked prawns for 5-10 minutes with half a teaspoon of ginger paste, half a teaspoon of garlic paste, a sprinkle of chili flakes, half a tablespoon of dark soy sauce, and half a tablespoon of light soy sauce. Keep it aside.
Step 2:
Cut and prepare the vegetables: onion, spring onion, green beans, and carrots.
Step 3:
Grill the prawns on a medium heat in the frying pan for one and a half minutes on each side. Keep them aside for later.
Step 4:
On the same pan, add olive oil, onion, spring onion, and fry for a minute. Add chili flakes, ½ tbs of ginger and ½ tbs garlic, a dash of dark soy sauce and light soy sauce. Fry for another 2-3 minutes.
Step 5:
Add all the vegetables and mix well. Fry until they are just cooked (don’t overcook them).
Step 6:
Add the cooked pasta or noodles to the vegetable mixture and mix well.
Step 7:
Add the grilled prawns on top of the noodles.
📌 P.S. Grilling the prawns separately allows you to serve them perfectly cooked without absorbing moisture from the noodles which would make them soggy.
📝 Note: You can use chicken instead of prawns, but it will need a longer cooking time.
