Application of an unlimited number of V-shaped and trapezoidal bench ditches, along with head and toe ditches, on slopes with varying inclinations and elevations.
*In the typical cross-section parameters, the term 'head ditch' is used for both the head and toe ditches.

OPERATION STEPS IN THE VIDEO
Purpose: A desired number of bench ditches will be created. Then, "V-Section" bench ditches will be added to these benches, along with the excavation head ditch for the cutting and the toe ditch for the filling.
Each bench ditches can have different parameters since each will be connected end-to-end (e.g., different slope, different slope heights, etc.).
1. Bench slopes will be added to the assembly separately for cutting and filling. To connect the slopes end-to-end, the "Connection Points" parameter will be entered.

2. "V-Section" bench ditches will be added to the benches.

3. An excavation head ditch will be added for the cutting, and a toe ditch will be added for the filling. A 3-meter distance will be left between the head/toe ditch and the slope end.
*The head and heel ditches should only be applied where necessary.

4. A datum surface will be created.
*If the bench ditch excavation is to be calculated separately from the route excavation/filling, the parameter “Bench Ditch Excavation Surface” should be set to “Above” in the parameters.

5. The datum surface errors in the head and toe ditches will be corrected.

6. A 50 cm stripping excavation will be applied.
*For the stripping excavation to extend to the axis, the alignment must be defined as a horizontal target.
