Beverley 10k - one of us won? The other was 2nd!

Beverley 10km has become a crucial part of our racing calendar, Naomi’s hometown race. One of the ‘local’ favourites, to our second home, over in East Yorkshire… a race I have now personally done 3 times before, this weekend in 2024 being my 4th visit to the market town’s flagship 10k. I’ve had some good runs here, some fast runs, but I’m coming into this weekend confident off of the back of London Marathon.

Naomi on the other hand, she’s confident, she’s in some unbelievable shape at the minute; but fresh from a visit to A&E on Friday, a little bit under the weather… she’ll either have a great run or blow up trying. But we’re runners, we’re made of hardy stuff. Who knows what will happen when the gun goes?
