This is a routine, not only for beginners, but anybody at any level can follow it get insane gains. However the more advanced athlete will have his own ways. This is what I found, works best for beginners.
Negative pullups/pullups
Accumulate quality reps based on your capacity. Example, start with 10 reps, add 2-3 reps each week. Stay away from failure, focus on quality reps.
Lat pull downs
3*8-10
Barbell row
3*8-10
Underhand lat pull down
3*8-10
Cable row/machine row that biases upper back
3*8-10
Bicep curl
3*10-15
Facepulls
3*10-15
