You're Drinking Wine at the Wrong Temperature

99% of people serve their whites too cold and their reds too warm - and it's completely ruining the wine. Temperature is the volume knob for flavour, and you've probably got it set wrong. In this video, I'll show you the dead-simple temperature rules that will instantly make every bottle taste better:
THE SIMPLE RULES:
🍷 Full-Bodied Reds (Shiraz, Cabernet, Malbec):
20-30 minutes IN THE FRIDGE before serving. Yes, chill your reds!
🍷 Light Reds (Pinot Noir, Gamay):
30-40 minutes in the fridge - they love being cooler
🍷 Rich Whites (Oaked Chardonnay, Viognier):
Take OUT of the fridge 20-30 minutes before serving
🍷 Crisp Whites (Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, Rosé):
Straight from fridge is okay, but 5-10 minutes out is perfect
🥂 Sparkling:
ICE COLD - 30 minutes in an ice bucket with water
EMERGENCY HACK: Forgot to chill? Ice bucket + water + salt = 5-10 minutes for reds, 10-15 for whites.
And yes, I say the controversial thing: ice cubes in red wine at a BBQ is totally acceptable. Fight me.
That old "room temperature" advice? It's from drafty European castles, not your centrally-heated home. Your "room temp" red is probably 10 degrees too warm.
Stop drinking muted whites and soupy reds. This one simple adjustment will change your wine game forever.
