The pectineus muscle originates of the pubic rami and attaches to the femur on the upper inner thigh below the lesser trochanter. It adducts, internally rotates and flexes the hip. Sitting crossed legged for an extended period or having a misstep may provoke trigger points in this muscle. Learn to locate and address the trigger points in this muscle.
