The spellcaster type in yugioh has a long history rich with unique and powerful monsters. Even from the beginning of the game, spellcasters were extremely powerful and were commonly played as staples in most every deck. This list will be of the best spellcaster and spellcaster support that came out before the release of the first synchro monsters in 2008’s Starter Deck: Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D’s.
