Everyone lives life in the front of their body (cpu/phone use, driving, walking, lifting and lowering) which easily leads to overuse of the pecs, shoulders and biceps. After a while, the pecs will get tight leading to shoulder, upper back, and even neck pain. We don't think of muscles outside of the site of pain but chances are, the adjacent muscles are the reason for why we hurt the way we do. Releasing the pecs leads to increased range of motion in the shoulder and less pain in the mentioned regions. This should be incorporated into everyones daily routine as it is essential for maintaining good posture and pain reduction from overuse.
