Do not reach pain -
Feldenkrais is about learning and connecting to yourself, making room for new ways of action. When our nervous system is occupied with pain it is not available to experience, enjoy and learn.
Repetitions create variations -
Do the movements many times in a slow pace so you can stay attentive and aware to the process.
There is always more than one way -
If you feel any discomfort please stop, reorganize yourself and try again. you will be surprised how relocating your legs or letting your chest participate can make a difference!
Be curious -
don't strain, don't try to achieve perfection. only to find how to make the movement possible and enjoyable as it can be today.
