On the 2nd of July 2023, the Glenbrook Vintage Railway's steam locomotive Ww644 hauled two trips of the River Steam Rover from Hamilton to Huntly and return.
As part of the Waikato School Holidays Steam Trips, Ww644 did one return journey to Te Awamutu, and two return journeys to Morrinsville. The next day, the 2nd of July, 644 also did two return journeys to Huntly.
