15 Minute Pancake Stretch for Beginners / Inflexible people. First video of the **NEW Beginner Flexibility Series**. My goal for this series to help those of you who have specific Flexibility GOALS that you are currently working on.

Do this follow along routine 3-5 times a week for the best results. Flexibility training takes months to years of dedication but I truly believe that ANYONE can become flexible (the way I did!) and I hope that the videos in this series will help you get there too.

WHAT IS A PANCAKE STRETCH?
A Pancake stretch is an advanced stretch where you sit with your legs in straddle position (legs apart) - feet flexed and knees pointed towards the ceiling. You would then walk your hands forward until your chest touches the ground!

We'll be doing a modified Pancake stretch in this routine with a pillow underneath our bums. As a beginner, it's okay if you can barely sit straight in a straddle stretch. The pillow will help tilt your pelvis forward and allow you to target muscles in your inner thighs and groin. We'll need to work on the muscles here to successfully do the Pancake stretch in the future :). As long as you feel the stretch in your groin area - we're gooooood.

Right now, your pancake stretch might look like a straddle but just keep reaching forward!

This is also a great stretching routine if you're working on your straddle stretch, pike stretch or middle splits (side splits).
