This week something a little different taken from a short course with Missy Bunch and her work on the cranial nerves (https://www.missybunch.com/cranialnerves)
If interested please take a deeper look at her work.
The cranial nerves come from the brain stem which is the primitive part of the brain responsible for all the inner working of our body’s regulatory systems. The cranial nerves are responsible for our senses: sight, smell, taste, touch, hearing, so we uses exercises to these systems to create change in our bodies. They influence our posture, balance, breathing and tone. Have a try with the test/ re-test exercises or add your own once you are familiar with the exercises. If you find any interesting changes I would love to hear your feedback via my instagram mindfulness_through_movement
