The BYD HYROX Melbourne Major | Women’s Doubles delivered speed, teamwork, and one of the most dramatic qualification battles of the weekend.
At the front, Joanna Wietrzyk & Jess Pettrow claimed the win with a powerful and composed performance, setting the standard from the opening stages. Close behind, Lucy Procter & Sinéad Bent secured second place, while third place was decided in a fiercely competitive fight that kept the pressure high until the very end.
One of the biggest surprises of the day came from the South African duo Vicky Macintosh & Danél Louw, whose fearless racing and strong chemistry shook up the field and proved they belong among the best.
And if you think the podium was intense, don’t look away from the finish: the battle for fourth and fifth, and the final qualification slot, came down to an electrifying sprint — a moment you won’t want to miss.
