All Russian students, please join us in celebrating Масленица and the beginning of Великий пост! We will talk about the history of this week in Russian culture, as well as learn about customs and traditions associated with celebrating the end of winter.
Be sure to stock your pantry and fridge with milk, flour, eggs, your favorite pancake toppings and lots-O МАСЛО (butter). Dr. Evgenia Wilkins will be teaching us how to prepare блины so we can celebrate по-настоящему!
Recipe Ingredients:
3 eggs
1,5 cups all-purpose flour
3 tbsp melted butter
3 cups milk (room temperature)
3 tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
