Who said crepes can't be savoury? These delicious savoury crepes can be filled with almost any protein of choice or veggies to satisfy everyone's craving.
For the filling:
2 tbsps oil
1 cup finely chopped onions
½ tsp salt
1 tbsp finely chopped garlic
2 tsps finely chopped ginger
1 cup grated potatoes
300 grams minced chicken
1 tbsp chilli flakes (or as needed)
1 tsp pepper powder
1 tsp roasted cumin powder
1 tbsp tomato paste
1 tsp mixed spice
¼ cup coriander leaves
Salt as per taste
1 tbsp lime juice
For Crepe Batter:
1 cup wheat flour
1 cup all-purpose flour
¾ tsp salt
1 egg
650 - 700 ml water
For coating:
¾ cup all-purpose flour
¾ cup water
¼ tsp salt
Bread crumbs as required
Oil for shallow frying
