Hey!

I wanted to share this little tip based on my personal experience in working with resistance. The main question was about how to turn resistance into motivation in our practice but I think this is a topic that applies not only on the mat but is absolutely relatable in our daily lives off the mat.

1/ My main tip to process any kind of emotion is to sit with it and observe the fear and expectation you may have surrounding this feeling of resistance. Ask questions, be curious. Notice what insights arise.

3/ Journal all of it! Write down everything you are discovering, in raw format and without editing.

3/ Another main question is to find out your biggest reason why. What is it that you want to do or create? Tap into that and keep connecting to these deep inner reasons and visions you have.

4/ Make a habit of starting your day with writing intentions - it can be something like daydreams - that keep you tuned in to what it is that you want.

5/ Give space and openness for this experience to let it process.

Sometimes, moments and phases of feeling unmotivated can burst stronger connections to inspiration and motivation. So, I hope these tips help and you find some tiny droplets of sweetness in your discoveries.
