Strawberry Shortcake Cocktail Recipe

This is my recipe for strawberry shortcake ... if it were a cocktail.

I just LOVE strawberry shortcake and as soon as fresh seasonal strawberries are available I immediately stock up and make some. This cocktail recipe covers all the flavor profiles of strawberry shortcake and reimagines it as a flip cocktail.

In this video we go over how to make a flip cocktail. How to make strawberry syrup. How to make homemade buttermilk. And finally how to make a strawberry shortcake cocktail. I'm garnishing with some dehydrated strawberry powder that I made simply by crushing some dehydrated strawberries I bought from Trader Joe's.
