Quinte West Museum of Natural History and Mount Pelion [Trenton, ON]

We travelled to Trenton, Ontario, in the tegion of Quinte West during the Christmas holiday to visit some friends and family. We decided to forgo the Ontario winter camping experience and find a suitable winter activity to entertain us while visiting. 🥶🥶🥶

The Trenton and Quinte West region has much to offer Ontario tourists, even in winter months. We walked along the Port Trenton Marina and made our way to the Quinte West Museum of Natural History, where we spent some time on a highly engaging tour that taught us about the transformation of land animals into whales. 🐳

It's a great place to bring children, and is very cost-effective if you're on a budget. 💰

We also strolled up the Mount 🏔️Pelion lookout point to get a better view of Trenton and to kill some more time during our trip. Unfortunately, we have no cooking to show you this time around but stay tuned for another camping experience that will come very soon as we travel to Pinery Provincial Park in late February. ⛺️
