A very useful technique to pace out anxiety and stress. Can be used whilst having an upper body procedure, such as cannulation/ the taking of blood. If you are presenting online, it can also be used discreetly to dissipate performance anxiety. Best combined with mindful breathing breathing in whilst lifting the foot off and breathing out whilst pushing the foot down to the ground.
