Training for motocross can feel confusing and overwhelming at times, but if you break it down, it’s just like any other sport. Before you start training for ANY sport, you always need to perform a needs analysis. This helps determine the specific qualities or adaptations needed to be successful in your particular sport. In this video, I break down the specific needs of motocross. You’ll hear me talk about body limb movement patterns, strength, power, hypertrophy, and muscular endurance priorities, as well as common sites for joint and muscle injury, and the causative factors.
