Cycling Groningen

Cycling Groningen is all about… well… cycling in Groningen, the largest city in the north of the Netherlands. In 2002 Groningen had the honour to be crowned the best cycling city of the Netherlands and in 2021 it was the 3rd best cycling city in the world!
With my videos I try to give an impression about what cycling in Groningen is like and show the amazing cycling infrastructure the city has. Active travel is a big thing in Groningen. More than 60% of any travel in and to the city is done by bicycle.
I am not an expert on road design or infrastructure. Just a lifelong cyclist with an interest these things.
