Bionic Booster Pack Test Run! Part 22: Super Coolant Acquired (ONI: Spaced Out!)

This VOD is the 22nd part of my Ceres Moonlets playthrough with the new Bionic Booster Pack DLC for Oxygen Not Included! Bionic dupes are now available, who have wildly different needs and behaviours from usual dupes, which makes them better in some circumstances and worse in others. In this video, we successfully manage to use the Sweepy and Flydo to pump hot Magma into the Geothermal Heat Pump! It takes a couple of tries to get it hot enough, but eventually, over 2200° C, we end up with 5 kg of Niobium and 3 kg of Fullerene among all of the impurities! The Fullerene then lets us make Super Coolant, which we can use to get the Data Miner down to as close to absolute zero as possible and thus get the Data Driven achievement. However, the colony is starting to self-destruct a little from the insane heat so perhaps it would be wise to quit while we're ahead. RIP Ren. Cycles 465-489 are in this video.

This DLC adds new a new duplicant type with drastically different traits and behaviours to normal dupes, as well as some supporting technology. While we did manage to get a good look at most of the new DLC content, we are going to save the Resin tree for the next run where that asteroid ends up being a little bit closer...
