🍌 Moist Banana Bread with Chocolate Chips 🍫
There’s nothing cozier than the smell of freshly baked banana bread filling your kitchen.
This version is soft, rich, and full of melty chocolate chips in every bite — the perfect way to use up your ripe bananas!
🧁 Ingredients:
• 3 ripe bananas
• 2 large eggs
• 60 g granulated sugar
• 60 g brown sugar
• 113 g unsalted butter, melted
• 115 g plain Greek yogurt
• 1 tsp baking powder
• ½ tsp baking soda
• 1 tsp cinnamon
• 190 g all-purpose flour
• 150 g chocolate chips (100 g for the batter + 50 g for topping)
👩🍳 Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
2. Mash the bananas in a large bowl. Add eggs, melted butter, and Greek yogurt - mix until smooth.
3. Stir in both sugars until well combined.
4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and cinnamon.
5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined.
6. Fold in 100 g of chocolate chips. Pour the batter into the pan, smooth the top, and sprinkle the remaining chocolate chips on top.
7. Bake for 55-60 minutes.
8. Let cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack. Store in an airtight container at room temperature.
