If you’re over 40 and thinking about a New Year’s resolution, this video offers a different way of looking at health, fitness, and change.
For many women in midlife, traditional New Year’s resolutions feel restrictive, exhausting, and short-lived. What used to work in our 20s and 30s often doesn’t work the same way anymore (and that’s NOT a personal failure). It’s a sign that the model needs to change.
In this video, I talk about the two common traps women over 40 fall into when trying to make a change:
• pushing themselves with the same old intense, restrictive approach
• or doing nothing at all because they don’t know what works anymore
If either of those feel familiar, you’re not alone.
I also explain how your nervous system, stress levels, and mindset influence motivation, consistency, and results, especially after 40.
When we understand how thoughts create feelings, and feelings drive action, we can finally step out of the cycle of burnout, guilt, and starting over.
This video is about finding the middle ground:
A supportive, sustainable way to approach movement, nourishment, and wellness, without punishment, extremes, or all-or-nothing thinking.
If this resonates, I’d love to hear from you in the comments:
Do you tend to push too hard — or freeze and do nothing?
And if you’re looking for a calmer, more supportive approach to health and fitness in midlife, this is the work I share with women in their 40s and beyond.
