A tight ribcage can cause aches and pains in our back, neck, shoulders, jaws and even our pelvic floor.
It can also lead to breathing problems as our diaphragm is attached to the lower ribs, so a very stiff rib "cage" can affect our breathing. The diaphragm is also one of our essential core muscles that protects our lower back and pelvic floor.
