There are days when the world presses in a little closer, when even the simplest task feels heavy, when your breath sits high in your chest and your nervous system whispers, I’m overwhelmed.
This does not mean you are failing. This does not mean you are weak. It means your body is speaking before your mind has found the words.
In the SVMT Method, we understand overwhelm as a biological message — a signal from the nervous system that you have exceeded what your inner landscape can hold in this moment.
Overwhelm is not a flaw. It is a call inward. But here’s the part we often forget:
Every human being has a capacity.
A threshold. A limit — not of weakness, but of design. When we reach that limit, the body is calling us toward rest and restoration.
Yet most of us don’t answer that call.
This session is a reminder to come home to the body. The body and its sensations are designed to bring us back from the brink. The breath, when allowed will guide un inwards, the heart will show us the way...sensation is there to guide us, we just need to remmeber.
The SVMT Method is designed to bring us back to this remembrance. This episode will guide you to a practice called Somatic Sequencing that is designed, not to fix, but to align, to remember and in doing so you let go of the overwhelm and come back to center.
Join me for this session. I'm Coach Bill Sullivan, Founder & Senior Director of Meditate: School of Mindfulness & Sound and the creator of The SVMT Method of transformation and it's my honor to share this practice with you.
