Crescent is one of the main and flagship lifts rising from the Park City Mountain Village base, although it starts a tad bit higher than Payday, so it does require a little uphill to reach. Nevertheless, it was built by Doppelmayr CTEC in 2008 as a alternative to Payday and Eagle indirectly replacing a Yan Double in 2009 called Ski Team which started around Tower 6 and ended just at the top of the Silver King Run but you’d have to take First Time or 3 Kings to reach. This lift features the later-version Garaventa carriers common for 2007-2009 D-CTEC installations. This lift provides access to numerous steep black-diamonds and directly accesses Silverlode, McConkeys and Pioneer which Payday can’t and is the only lift from any Park City base that directly accesses Quicksilver Gondola. This lift used to have a lot of low crowds as a kid skiing there but now that Quicksilver was added, extremely long lines especially on weekends and powder days are frequent. This lift is one of the newer ones however and it does shuffle guests up thanks to efficient capacity management and I don’t see this lift go for a long time because of it.
