Karl Marx is considered one of the great philosophers of socialism. Marx was the founder of modern Communism. He produced landmark works for communism like the Communist Manifesto and Das Kapital. Marx was born in Trier, Rhineland in the German state of Prussia. Karl Marx relinquished his Prussian citizenship. He was exiled and spent his life in Paris, Brussels and London. Marx participated in the 1848 revolution in Europe. He also worked for New-York Daily Tribune or New-York Tribune and also issued a newspaper named Neue Rheinische Zeitung. He is buried in Highgate Cemetery, London.
