🔥DRY COOKING
💦WET COOKING
And how they can drastically alter the weight of the food (but NOT the macros once cooked).
I provide you with some practical examples using both cooking methods for
1.🍗 Chicken
2. 🥦 Broccoli
I also show you 𝐇𝐎𝗪 𝐅𝐀𝐑 𝐎𝐅𝐅 your daily tracking can be after applying this tracking error to 3 meals.
𝐃𝐈𝐒𝐂𝐔𝐒𝐒𝐈𝐎𝐍:
Something I mention in the video is the different moisture content [MC] of various foods. I was supposed to go back & explain how this can predict the % weight change, but I forgot 😝 𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐃 𝐁𝐄𝐋𝐎𝗪 👇🏽
🥛🥤🍉🍍Foods with the highest MC have the greatest potential for LOSS when dry cooking methods are used, but are less likely to INCREASE with wet cooking methods. I.e. you can dehydrate the crap out of a broccoli but there’s only so much water you can stuff back in 🥦!
The inverse it true for low moisture foods & its likely + /- 10-20% from the percentage I mention in the video.
𝐂𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞
This also impacts the % weight change but for the sake of this video, I’m assuming ya’ll aren’t 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 trying to turn your chicken in coal🔥or your veggies into soup 🍵
