The down dog sequence is a 3-stretch progression that illicit's a massive stretch to the calves and hamstrings while also increasing shoulder flexion (overhead ROM). This is a great stretch to do on a daily basis or after a tough posterior workout. This would be a great stretch for avid runners as well due to the stress placed on the calves, hamstrings and feet.
