If you want to strengthen and tone your legs but are worried about knee pain, this short 5 minute knee friendly barre workout is a great place to start. Using simple ballet-inspired exercises you can complete a short workout at the barre and still feel those leg muscles working.
You will need something to hold onto like a barre, the back of a chair or a worktop.

ABOUT ME //
I’m Sarah Aspinall.
I help busy women achieve a healthy and toned body to be proud of using short, high-intensity, ballet-inspired workouts daily.
As a wife and mum of 2 children, I don’t have time for long, exhausting workouts, or for pretending to be something I am not.
I specialise in combining ballet technique and fitness to provide you with short workouts that are both achievable and sustainable in the long-term.
In a past life, I was a busy corporate lawyer, working crazy long hours with little time to focus on my health and fitness.
So I left that career, went back to my ballet roots and trained with the Royal Academy of Dance to teach ballet.
Today my Breaking Ballet business is thriving and I have a huge passion for helping women like me to achieve the healthy body they deserve in a realistic and sustainable way.
I do NOT subscribe to the “all or nothing” approach. Just “do something” every day to keep you moving forwards.
