Use caution in these deep hip openers if you plan to practice after being active. When your body is warm, it is easier to go deeper and potentially injury yourself.
A yin yoga practice is a great way to learn how to breathe deeply and start a meditation practice that can help you be mentally focused for your runs. Combined with the deep stretches, this is a perfect way to have some "me time" and recover after a run, while learning how to keep your body relaxed in stressful situations.
