Shahi Mash Daal
Serve 4-5
- Urid lentil 400grms (mash daal)
-Salt 2 tsp (namak)
-Turmaric 1 tsp (haldi)
-Oil 14-15 tbs (teel)
-Garlic crushed 2 tbs (lehsan)
-Ginger 1&1/2 tbs (adrak)
-Green chillies 3-4 (hari mirch)
-Red dry chillies 4-5 (lal sokhi mirchay)
-Tomato paste of 4-5 medium tomatoes (tematar)
-Coriander powder 1 tsp (dhania powder)
-Red chilli powder 1 tsp (lal mirch powder)
-Cumin seeds roasted crushed 1&1/2 tsp (zeera)
-Yogurt 1/2 cup (dahi)
Directions:
-Wash & soak Mash ki daal over night.
- Boil Daal, add 1/2 tsp turmeric powder & 1 tsp salt in water add daal and give 30 minutes boil, cook lentil 85%.
-Daal Masala, add oil in pan let it hot then add crushed garlic and Ginger saute them then add green chillies, red dry chillies mix well then add tomato paste mix well and cook on high flame let the water dries.
-Add salt, coriander powder, red chilli powder, turmeric powder 1/2 tsp, roasted crushed cumin seeds mix well and cover the pan cook on low flame for 15 minutes.
- Open the pan add yogurt mix well again cover the pan for 15 minutes cook on low flame.
- When oil separates add daal mix well and cover the pan for 10-15 minutes on low flame.
- Dish out Garnish with butter, Coriander leaves, Green chillies & Ginger.
- Serve with Naan,Paratha, chapati and Enjoy🙅♀️
