Sometimes a pour is too boring, too loud, too muddy, etc. ... just not what you'd hoped for. Learn to transform it and make it just what you want! This step by step walk through shows you how I completely changed a pour by using handy inexpensive tools. Learn how to save paint, remove sections of a pour, AND to have creative fun boosting the details of your painting!

I thank you in advance for wanting to keep this channel going. It means a lot to me.
Once my paintings dry, I spray them with a low odor, user-friendly, crystal clear, varnish designed for acrylics, oils and watercolors. It gives a glossy finish. Here is a link: http://amzn.to/2jGh3KO
When I want a matte/satin finish instead, I use this spray: http://2fvgYF0
For this painting I used :
Decoart MEDIA Fluid Acrylic - Hansa Yellow Lighht
Artist’s Loft paints:
Flow Acrylic White for the negative space and in the dirty pour
Flow Acrylic Neon Green
Brilliant Blue
Brilliant Magenta
This is my formula for all the paint:
--- 1 part paint to 5 parts Floetrol (but 2 parts paint to 5 parts Floetrol works well too)
--- I then add a little water if necessary to get my paint to be the consistency of really warm honey, or like heavy cream. Flow acrylic (runny like house paint) will need very little water if any, while medium to heavy body paint (thick like toothpaste) will need more water. I always try to limit the amount of water that I use ... too much will break down the binding properties of the acrylic paint. How much is too much? I try to keep the amount of water under 50% of the amount of paint.
There was a drop or two of silicone in the green, blue and yellow but not in the white or magenta.
My favorite silicone is "3 in1 All Temp Silicone", available at most hardware stores.
This was done on an 8x10 inch canvas and the pour utilized no more than 80 ml of the paint/Floetrol mix (under two ounces).
The bottle I used for the white paint in this video is one I got through eBay ... It came in a pack of 5 for $3.20 (that includes shipping). Each bottle comes with 7 different tips in different widths that you can easily change out with paint still in the bottle. Search for this exact phrase : "5 pcs squeeze bottles with nozzles". It'll take just about 3 weeks to get them (coming from China).
Thank you in advance for watching the videos, sharing them, commenting and leaving a thumbs up. Your kindness helps my channel continue and it is all greatly appreciated! May the alcohol inks, resin, and paints be kind, and may the pours be with you. 😊💕
