Mitosis (Cell Division) in Hindi

In this Science (Biology) video in Hindi for Class 9 and Class 10 we explained all the phases of mitosis which is a type of cell division. This is a topic from Chapter 5 - 'The fundamental unit of life' of science from NCERT.

Interphase is a phase before mitosis, where the genetic material of the cell known as the chromatins replicate and form pairs of chromatids.

This phase hase three sub phases, viz., G1, S and G2.
G1 and G2 are the growth phases of the cell and in S (synthesis) phase chromatins replicates and attached with centromeres.

Mitosis happens after the interphase. Actual cell division happens in this phase. Mitosis has four subphases, viz., prophase, metaphase, anaphase and telophase. Simultaneously another process happens which is known as cytokinesis where cytoplasm divides and organelles are distributed accordingly.

Prophase : In this phase pair of chromatids condenses and become chromosomes, centrosome moves to opposite sides of the cell and the nuclear membrane disintegrates.

Metaphase : In this phase chromosomes move to the equatorial plane, microtubuoles appears from centrosomes and are attached to the centromeres of the chromosomes. During this phase nuclear membrane vanishes.

Anaphase : In this phase each chromosome breaks into two and they move to the two opposite sides towards the centrosomes.

Telophase : In this phase each chromosomes start unwinding and nuclear membrane appears.
