보원교수의 중국테마기행중에 가장 먼저 기행 할 곳이 광서장족 자치구에 있는 계림산수를 기행하는 것이다. 먼저 신선이 살고 있는 계림산수는 중국인도 살아 있는 동안에 꼭 한번은 가야 하는 곳으로 유명합니다. 그래서 계림산수갑천하'桂林山水甲天下'（계림산수의 풍광은 천하에 제일이다）라고 하고, 그곳은 모든 거리가 화랑이라고 합니다. 특히 신선이 사는 계림산수는 보는 곳 마다 수묵화와 같아서 내가 수묵화속의 주인공되는 곳입니다.살아 움직이는 수묵화속에서 선경을 보는 듯 착각하는 곳이 바로 상공산(相公山)에서 바라 보는 전경입니다. 상공산에서 바라 보는 계림산수는 어떨까요? 제가 직접 가 본 상공산이 바로 계림산수의 진면목을 볼 수 있는 화룡점정 전망대입니다. 그곳에서 촬영한 살아 숨 쉬고 있는 수묵화를 여러분과 함께 합니다.
