In this 20-minute standing pose practice, you’ll explore simple modifications to release tightness and create space in the upper body.
Standing poses aren’t just for strong legs and open hips—they can also be powerful tools for relieving stiffness above the waist. In this Iyengar Yoga sequence, we revisit two familiar asanas and shift the focus to the neck, shoulders, and upper back. With small changes to the classical shapes, you’ll learn how to free tight shoulders, revitalize the upper spine, and stay strong and grounded through the legs.
