FILIPINO FRIED SPRING ROLL is LUMPIANG PRITO. It is a special vegetable dish and extremely different from the spring rolls served in Chinese restaurants. It is very delicious and can be a dish on its own…so filling! Or be paired with other dishes such as pancit.

FILIPINO FRIED SPRING ROLLS is often dipped in vinegar with crushed garlic and hot chili pepper. The blend is perfect!!!

The video will show you how to make FILIPINO FRIED SPRING ROLLS are prepared and cooked. It is quite labor-intensive because of the preparation or cutting of the vegetables and the cooking the dish itself.

A total of five vegetables (jicama, sweet potatoes, green beans, carrots and cabbage) were used, in addition to the garlic and onions. But there is a way to cut the cooking time. I made sure that all the ingredients are close by when I was cooking and I used two frying pans.

Ingredients:
½ block firm tofu, julienned
1 medium sweet potato, julienned
1 medium jicama or singkamas, julienned
1 large carrot, julienned
½ head cabbage, shredded
½ lb green beans, chopped
2 heads garlic, minced
2-3 medium onions, minced
Cooking oil
Salt and pepper to taste
