LEG + CARDIO DAY HIT DIFFERENT TODAY 🔥🦵
Switching it up this time — instead of a heavy leg day, we went for a more athletic, stamina-focused session. I threw in a solid 15–20 minutes of cardio to get my legs ready for snowboarding season next month, because I’m trying to hit the mountain for multiple days straight without waking up destroyed the next morning 😭❄️🏂
The bike had my quads on FIRE, and then we hit some controlled hamstring work with high-volume reps to keep the routine consistent with the rest of the week. Cardio soreness is a whole different beast… had the legs wobbling by the end.
Wrapped things up with one more cardio session, talked a bit about why I need to stop skipping cardio, and rated the day a solid 8.5/10. Not my favorite type of training, but definitely necessary — better stamina, better breathing, better lifts.
