Moonbeam was built in 2008 by Doppelmayr CTEC replacing a fixed-grip quad of the same manufacturer that lasted only a few years from 2005-2008, then moved to indirectly replace Powderhorn in a new alignment as Powderhorn II. That quad replaced a thiokol triple chair respectively. Moonbeam serves mainly beginner and intermediate terrain as well as the Roundhouse restaurant. Moonbeam services a lot of mountain biking trails in the summer as well. This lift is relatively short for a D-CTEC lift but appropriate for its purpose. It is gonna last a very long time I know it.
SIDE NOTE: Sorry for there being so many slow-downs (10+ even) as a wedding was happening nearby the top terminal and guests had to be assisted off the chair at the bottom.
