We rode our NMAX scooters from Bali to Lombok using the public Padang Bai to Lembar ferry, and this video shows exactly what the journey is really like. The crossing took around 4 hours, and disembarking was intense — we got stuck between trucks, surrounded by heavy exhaust fumes, and our eyes were burning from the CO₂ while waiting to get off the boat.
