In this video, I talk about my base training to prepare for my 10k in January. This is the start of my 10k training so I'm slowly building volume and intensity. That means that my weekly mileage is increasing and I will start incorporating some lactate threshold workouts soon. Base Training has 5 main pillars which include volume, threshold training, speed, strength, and recovery. I go over all of these in detail and show examples in my own training as well as providing suggestions and tips.
